Radiograph (X-Ray)

Radiographs, or X-rays, are the most common form of imaging veterinarians use. Taking an X-ray involves exposing your pet to a beam of mild radiation and acquiring an image based on the absorption of that radiation. Radiographs are helpful when examining internal organs, bones, heart, and lungs.
